Christian motioned for his men to stay behind for now, and followed Raith back to the ship, a little dragon on each shoulder. They reached the ship and he overheard Raistlin mutter something about the dragon isles. Hornblower, now awake, had heard, too, and was about to respond when Christian came up.

"Dragon Isles? Oh, good gods no," Christian said, smiling. "These aren't the only islands these little ones are found on."

Hornblower nodded, then looked more closely at Christian. He gave a start when he recognized him. "Christian? Fletcher Christian?" He ran over and shook Christian's hand vigorously. "E'r'body thinks ye be dead, lost at sea! And all the time ye've been hidin' out on this island!"

Christian was surprised that the old one-legged one eyed captain recognized him, but then he noticed the familiar smile on the old seadog. "Horatio? Oh dear gods, it is you! You're still sailing? Of course, you were born on the sea."

"And may the sea take me when I die, too!" Hornblower responded cheerfully.

Christian looked away from Hornblower and swept a gaze over the ship. The mast was done for, the hull was shattered beyond repair, not to mention the keel was practically snapped in half from the crash onto the rocks. He turned back to Hornblower. "I figured your ship wouldn't be repairable, but I've an idea, if you and whoever is left alive would come with me back to the village we've established, I'll tell everyone there all at once. I do hate repeating myself."

Hornblower nodded, then turned to Raith. "If it be alright with you, stay here until the young lad and Sydney return, then bring them to the village, since ye know the way." He turned and followed Christian off the ship, motioning for Raistlin and Miguel to follow as well. Miguel smiled and tagged along; being young, he didn't even know the name Fletcher Christian, let alone having known him in person, and so had kept silent the whole time.
