Subject: Should Theresa have knocked?

And did Ethan have a right to be upset and get mad?

I answer "yes" to both questions! Guest or not - in fact being a guest is WHY she should've knocked - Theresa had no right to barge in. I realize she was upset, but that is NO excuse to barge in on your guests. They have a right to their privacy. I'm technically a guest in my parents home as I'm over age, but I do expect my privacy and they're respectful enough to KNOCK on my door if it is closed!

And Ethan had every right to be upset. You're with your WIFE and being intiment (gag me, but still) and you don't expect *anyone* to walk in on you. I'd have freaked out too! It's only natural to get mad and say things.

[> Out of politeness...And Gwen's red nails need to GO! -- Voltaire, 14:27:35 01/27/03 Mon (12.81.203.131)

Theresa should have knocked as it shows certain refinement and a certain amount of maturity. However, I guess we could chop it up to her being upset with her brother's condition, all eight scenes with him have made her feel close to him.

Ethan seemed more shocked or he didn't have a moment to confront her before Gwen launched into her attack mode. Good grief...as much as Gwen is right to be upset, I'd think she'd be more flattered that Theresa got to "catch them in the act".

I always get the impression when watching Gwen that she needs a life.

Also out of politness, wardrobe, change Gwen's nail polish. LOL Yuck! And have you ever seen someone get into their shirt and out of their shirt so fast? When she crawled out from under the covers, she was fully dressed. So what exactly are they doing?

I am so looking for those tomorrow. LOL

I can buy that she was just so upset she wasn't thinking, but I still think she should've knocked... doesn't matter if its her house! Heh.

LOL @ Being fully dressed. I don't even *want* to know.

I'm still laughing at the fact that just as soon as they had sex the first topic of conversation is Theresa. LOL If I were Gwen, I'd feel slighted. "I just had sex with you. So that makes you forget about Theresa right?" "Did Theresa have to be brought up after that???" I swear... *shakes head* Sometimes these characters are utter morons. I mean, more so then usual. 'Cause me? I'd have slapped him had he done that to me.

And while I'm on a tanget... WTF do these two think sex solves everything? Every time they have an argument they have sex! Every time he has to prove something, they have sex! Every time they have a conversation, Theresa being the topic always, they have to have sex! "You're not second best, you're just convient."

Sex and EG have always been a synonymous deal. First time we ever encounted them there they were having what else?, SEX! on the beach. But I am with you on that...and must their marathon go on for days? Why is it ET had one sexual encounter (well maybe three if you count the close scenes at Theresa's place) and the rest of this show is like nymphos? Whitney and Chad...Ethan and Gwen..Sheridan and Luis.

And wasn't Ethan's line "Do you believe me now?" just too charming? And like you said if Theresa weren't there to talk about, they would have absolutely nothing to talk about.

I had to smile a little when Gwen would harp on Theresa like the Harpie she is and Ethan always looked like he needed an Ex-lax. Then he would say something nondescript and Gwen would find it very insightful. I mean, why doesn't she get it? He was about to propose to Theresa, found out about Gweebie and all of a sudden Gwen is like shocked that he may still love Theresa?

Like I said...get a life for Gwen.

Happy note today...Eric's hair moved! Whoa! It actually had that one piece of hair slump down and look more like hair than anything else.

It lives!

That's very true. Hell, E/G "got back together" via sex. There was no discussing it, no conversation of how things went and where they could progress. Just nothing but flat out sex and Ethan rushing to Theresa's side afterwards. LOL As always.

Oh, I found the line incrediably charming! *rolls eyes* And then Gwen's, "After that?" I mean, huh? The sex has to be good for you to think everything is a-okay? Could we refer her to a shrink? Preferably not Eve. Does she do psychiatric? God knows she does everything else in Harmony...

And no, Gwen will never get it. She'll insist that Theresa stole Ethan away, and that Theresa did this... Theresa is the reason people are starving... Theresa is the reason wars go on, yadda, yadda, yadda.

LOL @ Eric's hair moved. I was actually looking! Looked for the hair, ignored the nails. Gotta get to seein' them nails.

Yes, she should've knocked. But I can earnestly understand her emotions. Not only has she just received bad news, but she's been drinking, which causes her to clearly not be in her right frame of mind. So I will excuse her for not knocking.

However, I am mostly disturbed by some ppl saying that she didn't have to knock becuz it's her house. Like WTF!!!! My feelings on that is if you have GUEST in your home, then you should be courteous enough to respect them no matter the circumstance. And if for possible reasons you hate certain parties involved, then kick them the hell out. Until then, chill, and deal!

Ethan had every right to shout out like he did. Hell, if I'm making love to my husband, and some guy busted through the door, my choice of words would be far from "What the hell are you doing?"
