Subject: How much has Theresa drank tonight?

Watching today's show it's becoming more and more apparent that Theresa is obviously drinking waaaaay too much. The alcohol is becoming a prop, that's for sure. But for what? So Fox and Theresa fall asleep together and Ethan finds them? That seems the most logical. But I just don't like it. It seems that Theresa is either not thinking about Bermuda mess with Julian or doesn't care, and that bugs me. I'm just curious if this sudden urge for alcohol is something more or if it'll just be a prop and then we'll never see Theresa drinking again. :\

On a side note, it was great to see the old Theresa today. The starry eye'd dreamer with her head in the clouds that has this romanticism idea on love. *sigh* I miss that Theresa.

Ethan makes a New Year's resolution as does Gwen (and speaking of which...what does her resolution mean--that she will do "anything")
Off to the Crane Mansion for festivities.

Crane Mansion--later night

Here is where Theresa is first spotted with her new best friend, a Champagne flute. She has apparently had enough to already make her tipsy as she is having the oh so cute conversation with Fox and touching his nose and all that stuff. Pilar alarmed, tells her to stop drinking and looking like a fool.

So let's say she's had...oh, five glasses.

Onto the dance.

Ethan and Theresa dance, and in the background Fox and Lovely lady Gwen also share a nice dance. Interesting note, Gwen does a lot of laughing. After a few interruptions in the dancing, mainly from the ever dying Tony...off we send them to the cottage and Theresa and Ethan share another dance, ends, and Theresa excuses herself to see her son not without first trying to get Ethan to tag along.

Ethan and Gwen dance...but who gives?

Back up in Theresa's room--Fox enters with news on Gwen and Rebecca's plan, but also with the offer of a nightcap. Theresa mentions she's already had too much and needs to call it quits for the night.

They're whole conversation goes on only to be interrupted with Phyllis and her bad news.

"They say you're a chita banana down there Ms."

Off runs Theresa and Fox who have already foreshadowed Ivy's exit out of the mansion.

Late late night--

Theresa overhears Ivy and Rebecca and then we get those scenes. Fox on one side than another. Ethan confused, looking in law books, being upset, being disgusted...being just Ethan.

After Ivy finally exits...Theresa immediately hits the bottle. One, two glasses are downed while an audiance of onlookers glare at her for various reasons.

Ethan and Gwen exit for porn :)

Scene ends with Theresa and Fox sharing a bottle of chamapgne that Fox very waiter like pours into her best friend the champagne flute.

Later in the night--Early Morning--

Theresa and Fox in her room where they down what looks to be two bottles of champange. All of course with Fox ushering them in with "I saw your light on, how about a night cap Step Mommy?" And now we have bottles and numerous glasses being consumed.

WTF is this?

I don't think they're falling in love...Theresa's look of love is actually an alcohol stupor.

Theresa must have learned to hold her liquor well as in Bermuda she couldn't hold it at all.

I don't know how much she has had....but it's got to be in the gallons

Well, from the looks of it... Theresa should've had her stomach pumped from alcohol poisoning. Or at least visiting her newest best friend, the porcilian God.

Being a Theresa fan, I'm quite alarmed by the amounts of alcohol she has consumed over the past ... 24 hrs. (Harmony time; regular time it's been at least 5 episodes worth.) I guess none of the other Theresa fans care? *looks around wondering how that could be*

That it is Jer showing us more proof that Bermuda didn't happen because what after 3 drinks in Bermuda her and Julian were totally blacked out...yet she must of drunk a gallon tonight and is very lucid.

Hmm. Let's surely hope so. Although if that's an anvil, I do wish it would be thrown better. Or you know, they could actually get it over with and tell us. Anvils suck.

But all this alcohol does disturb me. They've at least downed two bottles of champagne.

Yes, Theresa has had way too much for her own good. So here's a question for ya. Would it be okay if Theresa and Fox sleep (have sex) together if they get drunk? I mean, It was appalling for her and Julian to become so drunk and do the deed, I'm just wondering if Theresa fans wouldn't mind her doing the same with Julian's off spring.

I for one find it disturbing how much she has drank with Fox. And someone mentioned about Love???? You're right. They couldn't possibly be falling in love in these scenes. The most I see happening is two ppl regretting what should be a hangover in the morning.

I would be completely appauled! I didn't like it with the Julresa crap, and I won't like it here. Fan of Fox or not! Two people having sex while they're completely drunk has always been something I hated seeing. It shows poor judgement, a case of taking advantage (especially if say Fox knows how to hold his liquor), and many other things. Sex + Alcohol = bad storyline!

I am with Dawn on this one...it wouldn't be a good thing.

However, if you are a fan of the couple and want it badly enough, I could see it being skimmed over for the sake of the awesome chemistry and whatever else.

Could it be that Fox, like Julian before him is purposely trying to get Theresa drunk?

Hmmmm, it does make one wonder Voltaire. He keeps her champange glass quite full doesn't he. Gosh, he's a lot like his father.
I would say yes to your question. I do think he's purposely trying to get her drunk. He thinks Theresa is some weakling becuz of her passion for Ethan, but she's far from it. He doesn't know what he's getting himself into. hehe.

Well, I surely hope no Rox fans would want Fox to take advantage of Theresa in an intoxicated state. What kinda fan would want that?

(lol @ awesome chemistry) I swear I don't see the awesome in it. Now if he would meet Kay, then I could see some awesome chem. But it's not there with Rox. At least not it being awesome. :\
