Subject: E/T: Soulmates Forever!

Due to the lack of Ethan and Theresa the past few days - with the weekend caught in there - I thought I'd do a post in honor of our comitment towards the best couple on Passions, E&T! :)

So, every time E/T aren't on, I'll do a little post... This very first one, I'm thinking I'll ask a basic question. What made you a fan of ET?

For me, I tuned into Passions because of the ET promos. What kept me watching this show was the story they developed for them. Theresa's determination to have Ethan "see" her/notice her and Ethan's denial of his feelings always kept me tuning in. I loved watching them fall in love. It's what keeps me staying here, keeping my E/T love alive! :)

For me I started watching passions around june 2000 when i got out of school, but the thing that really made me an et fan was when theresa confessed her love to ethan on the prom boat...

The dreamer, I was hooked from there on...

Great idea Dawn. I love this thread.

The E/T promos was what got me too. I wasn't suppose to watch Passions past the first week it aired. I was only going to be faithful to my number one soap! "DAYS OF OUR LIVES!"

After the first week, I went back to work from a weeks vacation, and I would come home to my tape and watch the Days eppy. They would always show a dang promo for Passions. I would literally close my eyes so I wouldn't get hooked, but that didn't work. I was intrigued by Theresa's feelings for the richest kid in town, Ethan Crane.

So I decided to have an affair. Days will always be my number one soap, but Passions will be my affair. I've been cheating now for almost four years. I know that's bad, but I love E/T and I got to see them get back together before I end this thing. ;)

What a good question. I have watched Passions since day one...because...well...DAYS OF OUR LIVES was all about the Princess Greta fiasco. And when watching the Promos, i was like, it look interesting. But funny thing is...i didn't even remember the promos until i saw vidclips of them.

Well, from the first time i saw the characters of theresa and ethan, individually and together, i was intrigued. Maybe it was the cinderella story, maybe it was the TravLin chem shining through, i think all of that and more just hooked me onto E/T. They were the first two characters that i absolutely loved on that first day. each episode made me want to see what happened between these two. I think a lot of it could have been the naivity and my goodness, the comedy, that came out of theresa's determination to finally meet ethan.

And as the story progressed, i think it was the fact that all these fantasies were being had, but in reality it was a completely different story, and when things finally got to where Ethan was falling in love with theresa....my love for this couple got even stronger.

And of course, i think the TravLin chemistry added so much more to this couple. Admittedly....when Travis came onto screen, i think i fainted.... :) but when you see him with Linds....it's just WOW.

awesome question dawn....and now you got me tearing up and i will just go and watch some TravLin tapes right now...to wollow in my sadness over travis not being here.
