Hey, everybody!

I just wanted to pop in and tell you guys to rock on!(as cheesy as it may sound)

I'm not a big ET fan, but I support any fan who will stick by their couple through thick and thin, especially when their fellow "fans" are turning against the couple.

I experienced something like this a few months ago. It's not a secret that every storyline on this show has been majorly biting lately, including my favorite couple, Shuis. The majority of the fans were *not* happy with the way Sheridan was acting.(not telling Antonio the truth and such). Some people dropped Shuis like a hot potato and started rooting whole-heartedly for Luth, just because Beth was there and they didn't like the way Sheridan was acting. I was like "Huh? You've supported this couple for three years, through the imposter storyline, all the deaths, an entire year being seperated, and now you're turning against them because of *one* thing?" I, too, was angry at the way this storyline was going, but I still stuck by Shuis because, like y'all, I know that at the end, Shuis will be together. So why support Luth when you know they're not going to end up together? Same goes for Gwethan and Rox. It's pointless to put so much effort into rooting for a couple(buying magazines, recording every day, making websites, etc..) when they're going to end up seperated, and with other people.

I believe I have the same mind-set that most of you have. When I saw Shuis fans dropping like flies, I was proud to think that when Shuis are back together and when they're happy again, I'll be able to say I supported this couple through the good *and* the bad. Afterall, that's what defines a fan, isn't it?

I know some ET fans are just supporting Rox so Ethan will be jealous and Theresa will have a new man, but at the end they want ET together. But what these Rox "fans" may not see is that if they build Rox a large fanbase and if every ET fan converts into a Rox fan, JER may look at the fanbase and say "Heck, why even put Ethan and Theresa back together? Seems like everyone loves Theresa and Fox now." And, poof, there goes your couple.

So, anyways, I don't think I'll be posting here much, because(like I said) I'm not a big ET fan, but I just think you guys are doing the right thing in sticking by your couple. Thumbs up! :-)

I admit, there are times I want Flopresa to happen to make Ethan jealous, as well as almost giving up on my couple... but after much deliberation I stuck to my guns and stuck to my couple. Although I still feel Ethan needs to beg and Theresa needs to learn.

I do think that what makes you a fan is the ability to get totally fed up with your couple, rant and rave about all their trials and tribulations, as well as wanting to throw the towel in, but that, in the end, you never give up.

Thanks for posting this! I agree that loyality is a big part in anything, and you shouldn't just hope on a new train just because things look bad for the core couple. I will always support the couple I believe in.

great post.

i'm on a different boat here because i am wishing with all my might that we will have TRAVLIN E/T again....and i know that's a lost cause....but still.....

however, i am still...and always will be an E/T fan....i want them to be together in the end and please....let it be with someone other than (ERIC THE NO EMOTION ROBOT MAN) playing ethan. If not Travis....then at least someone who CAN ACT!

I have sticked with certain couples even when it "goes against the grain"...example... (dawson and joey)....i might be in the minority...but they were and are my favorite couple from dawson's creek and always will be...no matter what....(lol...please no comments...lol)

TRAVLIN ALWAYS....BROE FOREVER....BRICOLE NEVER!
