on cnn's TALK BACK LIVE today march 5, 2003 a young 30 year old jewish looking punk kid stated that when we started the war on iraq that in the 1st or 2nd week they were ready to close the streets of washington d. c. the sit of our federal government down. i really wish there was a way that we as vets of the last several wars could meet these young protesters in dc and sit them back on their heals. our forefathers fought and died to start the history of this great country. whether right or wrong we are still the only country in the world with the basic freedoms left. thank you thomas james gildea navy vet good bless america
