Hi Penny

I too have been trying to trace my father from high wycombe USAf base from 1966 and although we have found out he passed away a few years ago I have found my half sister also in High Wyco,be and we are now trying to trace our American side.

TRACE - Transatlantic chidrens enterprise - which is a voluntary organisation have links with UK and USA and are very evry helpful, as all memebers are searching for family, please look at their website TRACE.

good luck in your search
Toni
