i have a 2000 chevy cavalier i was out racing one night and my car stoped going into second (manual transmission) it will go into gear but when i press on the gas it kicks it out when i downshift from 3rd to 2nd it will stay in gear untill i press on the gas ive talked to some mechanics and 1 place told me it was the syncros or the slider forks another place told me it was the gear itself was stripped if anybody can help me i would greatly appriciate it maybe helping me find a new/used better transmission or a good place to find parts to fix it im kinda in a bind its my dd also is it safe to drive around with no second gear ??? ive been driving with out it for 2 weeks please help me my e-mail is darkgodmccln@hotmail.com
