Subject: Burning Love

I know a love that's a consuming fire. I don't even want it half the time - but I have no choice - it burns me, I'm it's fuel - it won't let me go. It became the defining factor in my life over a decade ago - she's come and gone and come back again - but the fire never stopped burning me. When she's far away - the good side of me dies - I walk around a different person - one I don't like. When she comes back - I'm reborn - but reborn into the most incredible sadness - cos' she refuses to have me.
She wants me to love her - maybe she needs me to - but she won't tell me she loves me back.
