Hello Tracy,
U may already know if these places, but I had written up an e-mail for someone else looking for a boat a bit ago, so I thought I'd post part of it here.

Here are some Links to help find a boat!:

Tussey Mountain Outfitters in Bellefonte, PA
U can probably find the phone # on the web. The owner, Ed has some nice used boats, and there's a small river and playspot right below the shop.

http://www.threerivers.org/ - look under boaters market

http://www.voy.com/130686/238.html -Stark Moon Kayaks
http://www.boatertalk.com/gear.php
http://www.noc.com - but u dont need a new boat, because your just going to put the boat in the water and scratch it up anyway :) but this is a good site for paddling apparel and stuff.

Usually any whitewater club will have a section where they are trying to sell used gear.

My best advice is to try lots of different boats, even if u dont think u would like a certain type of boat.

I'm no expert, but I thought maybe this advice would be useful.

Good Luck
Marie
