I have already checked out that water trail guide and, while it has been extremely helpful, it did not answer my specific questions.

Thanks for the tip on the rapids. The trail guide does not make them out to be very difficult. We have some experience on the middle Yough out of Confluence. Would these rapids be similar to what we would experience on the Conemaugh?
