what is so call political attractiveness in Chinese is 政治資本(sorry for translation problem). It is a difficult term to explain, and what is inside is also difficult to define.
It can include everything, for examples:your outlook, your political believe, your speech, etc... It can be also difference when the same person staying in different position, time, reason and also varies if he do anything, all in one word, political is only a very, very vague term.
Before i go any further, how would u feel the following people?
1.Mr. Tung Che Wha
2.Mr. Donald Tsang
3.Mr. Bill Carliton (former US persident)
4.mr. Freddick Ma?
Let me code some cases to show the relation between 政治資本 and the problem of support coded by 成吉思汗, we can also see the relation between 政治資本 andthe invlovement of common people in different incident:
1.In 1998, Mr. Bill Carliton was facing the problem of a sex relation. and he is even in the danger of losing his power. Yet, due to his 政治資本 gained by the high rate of economic growth in US, he survive. just imagine if the case happen in HK on Mr. Tung(jock), the result must be different.
2.In recent years, nearly all things done by the Tung government have people to oppose it. Again, the problem is that almost all his 政治資本 is lost in his 85000 housing policy.
3. however, when Mr. Tsang lead 全城清潔小組, the problem do not occur, it is the 政治資本 of Mr. Tsang due to his well preforment as a Financial Sec. It is also due to he is one of the most important person in the HK-British government that bring HK as a world city with gd preforment in economy that Tung government cannot do.
