一日，和尚下山見一賣鞋的
和尚指頭頂
賣鞋的指腳
和尚摸心口
賣鞋的摸背脊
和尚伸出兩隻手指
賣鞋的伸出四隻手指
和尚一隻手掌在面前晃動
賣鞋的伸出一隻中指
和尚立刻連爬帶滾跑回山上寺廟
小和尚問曰:「為什麼走得如此急?」
和尚說:「山下，連賣鞋的也有很高學問
我說:我頭頂三十六天宮
他說:我腳踏七十二地獄
我說:我胸懷日月
他說:我背負乾坤
我說:我有哼哈二將
他說:我有四大金剛
我說:我會五經四書
他說:我堅守中庸之道
不快點走，想被人侮辱嗎?

賣鞋者的朋友問:「你們剛才打什麼啞謎?為何那和尚走得那麼快?」
賣鞋的說:「哼!混吉的!剛才:
他說:我做和尚的
我說:我賣鞋的
他說:鞋用胸皮好
我說:背皮較佳
他說:一口價兩文錢吧!
我說:公價四文錢!!!
他說:我不買了!
我說:(中指做不文手勢)0拿!!
