董建華及梁錦松突請辭　曾蔭權將任?#123;時特首　陳坤耀或出任財政司長

【明報專訊】特首辦於昨晚召開記者會，宣佈特首董建華及財政司長梁錦松之請辭決
定。此為香港回歸後首次有首長級官員請辭。

董建華對於自己未能帶領香港脫離困境，感到十分遺憾，而梁錦松買車事件及非典型肺
炎事件之處理手法使香港人對政府信心全失，使他明白惟有辭職方能使香港人對政府恢
復信心，故決定與梁錦松一起於解決非典型肺炎事件後辭職。他期望香港人能自強，切
勿灰心喪志，以香港人的努力和適應力，必定能帶領香港走出谷底。

梁錦松則對自己買車一事上的處理深感愧疚，所以決定和董特首一同請辭，以回應社會
的期望。他期望繼任者能帶領香港走出經濟谷底，及鼓勵香港人切勿對自己失去信心。

根據基本法規定，特首之職將由政務司長曾蔭權頂替。而財政司長一職，據消息人士透
露，將由嶺南大學校長陳坤耀出任。

中文大學香港亞太研究所研究統籌員王家英?#123;為，董特首及梁司長突然請辭，顯示出社
會對政府之不滿情緒已接近『爆煲』，兩人是以請辭來平息社會的不滿情緒。嶺大政治
及社會學系副教授李彭廣則表示二人之請辭將有利市民恢復對香港之信心，有助解決財
赤及對抗非典型肺炎。

有關二人請辭後的詳細安排，特首辦將於日內向市民公佈。
