全因我們「偉大」的教育制度所賜
太過著重考試，結果上課討論的時間和課程的空間也因syllabus的出現而變得狹隘

我認為不能完成責怪教育制度
因為有怎樣的文化，就有怎樣的教育制度
現時捨本逐末教育制度只能說是使問題更嚴重
即使沒有所謂syllabus，學生上課時就會踴躍發言了嗎？
不是的．
在中國傳統社會，每個人都是依存者
英雄主義是不被鼓勵的
父母自己就教導子女要「聽話」
不許有個人發揮的餘地
父母同時也常教子女不要做「出頭鳥」
所以上學也不多發言了
而這樣的傳統也影響了亞洲其他國家
這樣或許可以比較好地解釋
亞洲的小朋友則不知道什麼叫『自己的看法』了
