Dear Livingston Researchers: I am searching for the parents of my g-g-g-grandfather, Joseph Elias Livingston who was born in Alabama in 1820. In 1843 he married in Coosa Co., Alabama to Lorana Hollis (Poss. daughter of Samuel and Wincy Hollis). She died prior to 1850. Later, Joseph Elias Livingston later moved by 1850 to Union Parish, Louisiana where he married 2nd in 1850 to Euphania Peeler (Dau. of Randolph Peeler and Sarah Malone). Joseph Elias Livingston had eight known children:

Frances Livingston married a Henderson
Louisa A. Livingston married a Reeves

by 2nd wife
David Livingston--poss died young
Abraham Livingston--poss died young
Mary Catherine Livingston married Isham Scott Phillips
Nancy Euphania Livingston married a Wheeler
Samantha Livingston married Dempsey Pace
Marion Randolph Livingston (Male) died young

Joseph Elias Livingston died in 1868 in Union Parish, Louisiana. He is thought to be buried in Rocky Branch Cem, in Union Parish, La where several of his children are buried. Any help or suggestions about his parentage will be appreciated. Sincerely, John Burnett
