He agreed and assured her at the same time - because he knew that his parents were such intimidating people, but he also couldn't see them <i>not</i> liking her. Though it would probably take a long time before they were happy with his choice of girlfriend, and they probably had someone else in mind for him to spend his life with, they couldn't realistically fault her for anything. She smiled softly as he kissed her, letting her eyes slide shut and her chin tip up a little and she returned his kiss lovingly, her hands curling gently around his forearms. She knew in her own mind she more than deserved him- She didn;t consider herself below him in anything other than life experiance... she had been studying at the same school as him before she was pregnant, and planned to return when Nick had finished up and the baby was old enough, she didn;t have to bad of a background- none of which was her own fault at least, and she knew she was a fairly well rounded girl. She knew their only complaint would be that she'd gotten pregnant, and perhaps that she wasn;t in the top 100 eligable females. She broke the kiss just to gaze up at him, speaking softly with her lips still close to his "I love you Nick" She wasn;t sure if he was ready for that... and she didn't expect it back, she just wanted to let him know how she felt for him.
