Subject: As long as she was happy doing what she was doing, he was happy, because she was great to have around - not only because he loved her and loved being around her, but she was such a great mother and girlfriend. He considered himself a very lucky man to have her in his life, even if he hadn't exactly let her know it in the beginning. "I don't think so. I think he's definitely more interested in football." He assured her - to reassure himself more than anything - and then shifted carefully so that he was stretched out on his back with Ethan on his chest, cooing away. "Thanks babe."

  • She smiled a touch to herself and shook her head to herself. She had never in her wildest dreams imagined him taking to the 'dad' role... he had also been so anti-commitment, and having a baby together was probably the most commited thing they could have done... marriages could be easily dissolved and broken, but you never stopped being parents. She fixed up the food, letting the chicken cook in some spices which she set up the table with place mats and plates and all that they would need to put in the fajita's. She emeraged twenty or so minutes later with the chicken and the tortillas, setting it all up on the table. She headed over to them, pressing a kiss to Nicks forehead before moving to pick Ethan up off his chest, cradling the sleepy baby and heading over to lay him on his play mat on his back, with all the various mobile things hanging in his reach above him. It amazed her sometimes that tehy could actually do this- and do it well. (NT) -- Cait, 16:32:44 01/15/06 Sun
