While browsing the Buck Free Press, I came upon a short story relating to a re-union of Changi RAF personnel in 2001 in Buckinghamshre. I am the son of John Henry McQillin Saunders who was stationed in Changi from about 1946 till 1949 (I was born there in 1947) and his wife Elizabeth Saunders. If anyone recalls my father, please reply. I have some old photographs of his group taken in Changi and could share them with old colleagues of his.
Thanks

I know I'm a few years too late, but just found your mention on 6BPU.
My Uncle (Joseph Thompson) was posted to 6 BPU in Feb 1946 and I have in my posession all the letters he wrote home from 1943 to 47 when he tragically died from cancer after the war.
He was in Singapore from 46 until his de-mob in March 47.
I would be delighted to hear from you. Maybe your father and my uncle knew each other!!
