Hi Alan
If you knew Pinky and was at El A in 64 we should know each other, what trade were you?

Just spoke to Ken Patchett who also lives in Emsworth Hants, after visiting the RAF Forum 2 site.
Very nice to see familiar names again:
Jock Patrick.
Eric SKIN Skentlebury.
Tap Tapper.
FS Cockburn was our shift Boss.
Was very lucky that FS Churchill sent me to Akrotiri in May 1964, I followed Tapper who also escaped El Adem.

Would appreciate any information on Peter "Pinky" Walton. Where he is these days and if he served at Maralinga? Cheers David Corbett, Australia

Walter, you mentioned Don Lawrence as your leakiest trade boss......was this in 1962-63?.....as my father Don Lawrence was stationed in Tobruk and El Adem in those years....initially married unaccompanied but later joined by his family, me included.

Hi. I was stationed at RAF el Adam 1964 to 1966 and played football for the station including a tour of Cyprus with the station. I also played for arab team mucktar from tobruk a most enjoyable time in my life. My name is Jimmy Robertson and served with the Mt section. We had an inter league in el Adam which I played in too and really enjoyed. Take care
