Subject: 48 Squadron/FECs and Beverley Flight RAF Changi

I am looking for info regarding 48 Squadron, Far East Communications Squadron (FEC's) and 48 Squadron Beverley Flight when all based at Changi. At the moment 48 Squadron aircraft meaning only Handley Page Hastings and Beverleys.

So can anyone help regarding stories from 1957-1967 or help with photos (must be taken by you, so as not to infringe others copyright), thanks in advance.

John

This email has come in from Sandy (Peter) Sanders, so if anyone recalls Sandy drop me a line and I will pass on the info

I was stationed at R.A.F.Changi from Oct.1961 to April 64,most of it with 48 Sqn & F.E.C.S.I was an air radar Mech. So was shared around as jobs came up etc.Up to Nov.62 I was billeted in Blk.151 along side the strip,in the room with the murals painted by the P.O.W.s.
