Subject: A right nail bender

Talking of "skilled" tradesmen in the RAF. One concerned a carpenter, newly arrived, who was busy pounding nails into a wooden wall.
The sergeant in charge noticed that he was throwing half the nails on the ground. When questioned as to why he was doing this, he said,"Some of the nails have the heads on the wrong end." To which the sergeant replied, "You fool! Those are for the other side of the wall."
