My father, the late Rev. Stanley William Harrison R.A.F., O.B.E.,G.M was involved with the station doctor, in the rescue attempts after the crash at R.A.F. Abingdon. It is interesting to read memories of people, especially those who were there at the time. I would be interested to know if there are any photos of my father taking the funeral. He was awared an OBE for gallantry later in 1957 and I remember watching at Buckingham Palace. I was 10 at the time of the crash and we lived at RAF Abingdon.
