Hi chaps, served as a Nav on 1066 at both Lindholme and Scampton.A very memorable tour made better by the company of George Smith Ron Hanfieldand many others. Apart from the training flights for Vulcan and Buccaneer crews we did many transport flights, maritime recce during the 'Cod War' with Iceland and were on stand-by for V Force dispersal. The older aircrew were mainly very experienced Transport or Coastal Command'oldies'.
