Who is the male h/m artist that has a wife that judges? The only male h/m artist I know of are not interested in having wives, if you know what I mean. But the COI doesn't surprise me at all.

YES! We understand that but she did compete for the queen of queens with all the winners from last year and her mother and the other two judges on the panel picked her.

that is just so wrong to allow a mom to judge her own child for any title at a national pageant. Why didn't the audience protest that right then and there????

Someone told us at the pageant that he is fruity and his wife knew he was. I guess she doesn't mind sharing as long as it is not another woman.

The hair and make-up artists wife was a blonde that had a little too less of clothes for the size of body. She was done lapped over in her short top.

THERE WERE ALOT OF COI'S AT THIS PAGEANT. A CHILD THAT CAN NOT EVEN MODEL GOT OVERALL PRO-AM MODEL. THAT'S A JOKE. SOME LITTLE BALD BABY WON OVERALL MOST BEAUTIFUL 0-4 OVER SOME BEAUTIFUL GIRLS. IF THEY WERE GOING TO GIVE EMERY AN OVERALL-THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE THEY GIVE HER. SHE WAS MUCH PRETTIER THAN THE BABY AND DONE MUCH BETTER AND HAD TONS MORE PERSONALITY. TWO OF THE JUDGES WERE FROM THE KINGSPORT AREA OR SURROUNDING AREA. THE OTHER WAS THE WIFE OF THE HAIR AND MAKE-UP ARTIST. THIS PAGEANT SYSTEM SUCKS! DON'T GIVE HER YOUR MONEY UNLESS YOU WANT SCREWED. EXCUSE MY LANGUAGE BUT I AM STILL UPSET OF THE OUTCOME. SHE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY - I WON'T EVER BE BACK. I WILL BASH HER SYSTEM TO EVERYONE I HEAR EVEN THINKING OF GOING TO THIS SYSTEM. SHE NEEDS TO SELL OUT AND GET OUT. I TRULY THINK SHE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN A PAGEANT SYSTEM.

APPARENTLY SHE IS DOING SOMETHING RIGHT. THIS SYSTEM HAS BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL FOR THE PAST 32 YEARS. MAYBE YOU ARE JUST UPSET THAT YOUR DAUGHTER DID NOT PLACE AS WELL AS YOU WOULD HAVE LIKED!!!

That is why she has such a small turn out at a national level pageant and most of the ones that go are not national level pageant material. They are the ones she picks up during the year at her prelims.

competitors from coming. You can do several other pageants that award 1000-2,000 for the grand for the same costs as this pageant (or even less). It just isn't cost-effective for most people to do this pageant. The weekend can run more than 1,000 when it's all said and done and she doesn't pay her winners at crowning. The winners have to come back the following year to get their cash award. I think the gs only paid 250. and division supremes get around 50.00. You spend more the following year just to go collect 250 or 50.00! The few national-level competitors that go aren't in it for the money it makes no sense.

I think it was great to award the o/a MB title to another child other than the GS! I get so tired of pageants that give one child the GS and then every other title as well. If EK was the GS than the judges thought she did wonderful and looked beautiful! Enough of the greediness in wanting every title there is to win, I would be more than happy with a GS title! LOL!!!!

In the long post you say the child that won o/a proam model could not model but then you go on to say how wonderful EK did! Your post doesn't make any sense at all! I think you are upset that your child didn't place well.

This is Abigail's Mom. The little bald baby that you are referring to. First of all she isn't bald and second she didn't win Overall Pro-Am. If you are saying that the child that won didn't deserve it then you are talking about Emeri and she did deserve everything she won and No I don't know Emeri or her mother, I watched her compete and she is very good. Abigail has always been strong in Facial beauty and has won many overall titles including most beautiful, some for the entire pageant. To all the people that go around bashing children: You don't have a clue what pageantry is all about. All children are beautiful and don't deserve to be bashed or trashed ever!
Following are the awards that my daughter won. If any of you have anything to say about the title(s) that my daughter won then you need to come to me with your complaints. I was in the ballroom for over an hour after crowning and no one said a word to me except to congratulate us on a job well done. My email address is posted and I will be happy to meet with you or you can call me. We did not know ANY of the judges and have nothing to hide from.

This is the only post I will make. I will not debate this online. I only go on these boards to congratulate my child and others that have won or to post or retrieve pageant info which is what this board is suppose to be about. I will not be a part of any trash fest.

The post said that EK should have been awarded the o/a most beautiful title. I am confused about this post as well but what I read is that they are saying that the 0-4 o/a pro-am winner could not model but deserved the most beautiful title in the 0-4 over your daughter. I agree the poster is very rude to your daughter. Congratulations!

I 3rd that. I was warned before I went and would not listen. Next I will be the one warning and you people just need to listen. Don't waste your money. If you have extra to give away, give it to a good cause of just have a party somewhere to celebrate, take a trip, go visit friends or do another system if you are determined to do a pageant.

I think the lady in the long message had some good points. Maybe she did not say it tastefully and maybe she is mad about her child's placement, but I feel there were some beautiful children in the 3-4 age group that should have deserved overall most beautiful 0-4 over the baby. One of them was EK. I however have to agree that EK did not deserve Overall Pro-am model over some of the children in the 5&up. Can't go back and change any of it now. Just remember in the future - don't support the pageant systems that can't afford qualified judges at a national level. By the way my child was not competing so I am not sore over anything. Just hate it for the ones that got ripped off.

well if anyone had read the form you would know that the o/a pro- am came from your two events other than beauty, church wear which was mandatory and either sportswear or casual wear, then those "two" scores were added together and then whoever had the highest won o/a pro-am, now EK choose to do casual wear instead of sportswear , but you can't say she didn't deserve to win just because she didn't "pro-am" in a sportswear, obviously the judges liked her in casual wear better than the older girls in sports wear. and face it the kid is just to cute and the outfit kicked butt, I do think the award is named incorrectly though, maybe it should be o/a optional wear or something like that but I think she deserved her win for sure, JMHO
