Hello! I'm interested in learning millinery, but unfortunately there is a depressing lack of teachers/courses in my part of the world (Almost-Northern Ontario, Canada). I've looked online at a number of instruction books/kits, but am not sure which ones are worth buying. If anyone has used a book/video/kit that they've bought online and loved it, please post your experience here! It might help me decide which products to buy. Also, I'd really like opinions on how much can be learned at home. I have no concept of how difficult this craft is, and I wonder if it's the kind of thing where learning from books is all well and good, but learning with a teacher is better? Opinions welcome! Merci!
