Of all the new advice in the government's new dietary guidelines, eating enough whole grains may prove the easiest.

But the Agriculture Department says most Americans are only eating one serving or less each day. Three servings are recommended -- to reduce your risk of heart disease and type two diabetes.

If the problem is figuring out which foods have whole grains... you should look for the words "whole" or "whole grain" before the grain ingredient.

That should be the very first thing listed.

Besides bread, whole grains can also be found in brown or wild rice, oatmeal, cold cereal flakes and popcorn -- without the salt and butter.
