At my best speed at home, I could download about 35 files, averaging about 7megs in size, all at the same time in 5 minutes. I thought that was fast. The downloads are from 35 different private computers all over the world, not corperate ones, through kazaa.

That breaks down to 49megs of data per minute, or 1.134gigs in 27 minutes... a far cry from 840GB, but still about 1 DVD quality movie an hour or 2.

But considering that's on Verizon DSL connected to my phone line, & my fastest data transfers are done on a 800Mhz, 440GB RAM computer, not bad at all. My big 2.4ghz, 2GB Ram Gateway computer actually runs much slower (hardly use it-for sale). Whatta waste of money that was.
