Forget once in a lifetime . . . this is much, much less frequent than that. A highly anticipated pair of bright comets are making their long-anticipated trek through the inner solar system. AND one of them is now at it's peak visibility.

These comets have never been seen from Earth before. They will never be seen from Earth again. Here’s how and when you can see these glittering balls of fire for the first and last time ever:

What: Any place that sports a reasonably dark sky will be ideal for viewing Comet “NEAT.”

When: Best time to see Comet “NEAT” is in the mid-late evening.

Where in the sky: Look nearly halfway up in the western sky, near the Beehive star cluster in the constellation Cancer.

What to look for: The comet is likely to appear bright (about as bright as the more conspicuous stars) and sport a distinctive tail.
