I didn't realzie how much I cared until I saw that Bush might have won. I am glad I voted.
I just don't want four more years of the same- war under false pretense and a weakening economy.

===

I believe Jim Morrison said it best, "I'm gonna get my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames".

Seriously though, it's funny how you can change the channel and get a different idea of who's winning.

===

i think civil war general Robert E. Lee even cast a vote in Ohio.

===

I feel like Im going to throw up, I guess the Presidency is the only job you can royally fuck up for four years and still have. I dont even know what to say....I know he lost millions of jobs, turned a huge surplus into the largest deficit ever(in a wartime economy,) and to top it all close to 2,000 US citizens have lost their lives in a war he started for financial gain for him and his friends. Healthcare what is that.......the south has way too much control in this country. Congratulations you gun totting, bible thumping jerk offs, you just got 4 more years of being poor, fighting wars, and paying higher taxes. While the rich just lounge.

===

I had the local paper out here ask my who I voted for and why...
I said I voted for Kerry because W scares the shit out of me..
Then it occured to me....I voted not for Kerry, but rather against W.....how effective is that??? That sucks even more in my opinion....
You wanna be pissed at something be pissed at our (as Ralph Nader put it on CNN last night) dictatorial two party system...
I would have loved to made my decision last night based on who I felt was best qualified to run the country....but I didn't....I HAD to vote against the guy that I think is a tyrant and could very well do more damage to this country in the next 4 years than he has already done...

So don't blame Ohio for this....they have done NOTHING wrong and are doing, in my opinion, everything right....
In all honesty, and it kills me to say this, Kerry should concede...
It's over...he statistically cannot win Ohio......he's done....
The American people have proven, yet again, that they do not care what is best for them but rather respond to fear and intimidation....
This election was decided by the sheep that think that W is our daddy keeping us safe from the boogeyman....
It had nothing to do with healthcare, education, social security, or any of those real issues and everything to do with Al Queda and the war on terror...

A person can be intelligent and clear thinking but people are a panicky and unintelligent mob...
Watch how the town's people of South Park act when they decide things as a group....(yes I am using South Park in an election post)....that IS accurate...
The American people, as a collective, are that stupid....

I hope that King George realizes that 54 Million people do NOT agree with him....but I doubt that will matter to him..
And I hope that all of you Bush supporters really realize what we could be in for over the next 4 years....it will be very interesting...

===

it just goes to show that 51% of the country is easily spoonfed their reality.

===

To be fair, I suppose that the pro-Bush people, if the tables were turned, would be reinforcing stereotypes about Ohio's citizens.

===

Probaly not. I never thought Ohio would go with Bush. That state was hit pretty hard by NAFTA. But, at the same time, southern Ohio is a huge stel area and Bush's lightening up on EPA regulations may have been a factor there. Just a thought.
