By the way, 380+ tons of explosives missing (i.e., war on terror), but the oil wells keep pumping and there have been no breaches (i.e., war on iraq's wealth). Osama who? Oh yeah, he's not important any more.
That being said, Bush won and I pray he will do a good job. It seems that the voting has been clean and I am truly glad. I said a prayer when I was in the voting booth that no matter the outcome, the American people are at peace with their decision and can become more united. I didn't vote for him, but I will respect him based on his honest victory. The 2nd and 3rd debate helped me understand his philosophy of leadership better and, while I am not content with his leadership, I am certainly comfortable with him as my president.
Finally, liberals (of which I count myself) can be equally as elitist, insular, myopic and exclusive as conservatives. We are so convinced that we're right that we brand anyone that disagrees with us as "stupid" and refuse to listen to them. That is no different than conservatives claiming that anyone that disagrees with them is unamerican. The problem(s) is bigger than liberal vs. conservative.
