If you apply for citizenship in Canada, your US citizenship should be permanently revoked. The hatred spouted here is proof positive liberals have zero intent to actually discuss anything and work on a bipartisan aggreement. It must be ALL liberal or it is spawned of the devil. Damn good thing you all are not in politics. I remember when this similar sort of diatribe started around Nixon and the tapes. A little piece of trivia for yall. The first president to install recording equipment in the White House was FDR. It was a series of wire recorders operated by what was then the "Army Signal Corps" All meeeting rooms had several mics although the quality was poor. I guess it was just convenient to forget about everybody elses systems all the way to today. As for Kerry and edwards, Edwards was and is a professional liar, er, lawyer. He has ZERO experience on any international front and was seriously badmouthing kerry right up until Kerry realized he needed someone who looked cute. kerry is too much like Lurch to pass as cute. Kerry has NO substantial record in the senate (check the congressional record) for 20 yrs. He just kept saying (hundreds of times)"I have a plan". Not one time was any detail given for any plan on any program or issue. I guess just saying you have a plan is sufficient. Sounds like Al Bore (Gore) and his famous "lockbox" catchline. Last debate the ockbox was mentioned 22 times. If the Dems want to win the White House try this: groom a candidate with charisma, class, honesty, practicality, principles and common sense. The last presidential class Dem was JFK. I will agree that GWB sometimes mangles the English language. Kerry is more erudite. But the entire state of Massachusetts thinks that there is an "R" after every vowel at the end of a word. i.e. "i-dear", and let's not forget the Great Senate Drunkard and murderer: Teddy-one for the Road and two for the Bridge- Kennedy. Definite quality leader material there. What say we try to recover some civility and actually talk without yelling or insulting. I don't agree with everything the conservatives want. And anyone who says he agrees with everything the liberals want is a bricks shy of a load too. I support full rights for gays as they are citizens and there is NO reason to deny them any rights awarded to straights. I also want my borders made as safe as possible from terrorists and crooked international trade(NAFTA) Clinton is so highly regarded by the liberals but during his watch there were 23 terrorist bombings with 2,400+ killed and wounded in several countries around the world and millions of dollars lost. His response? "aw darn! I sure don't want to offend anyone by trying to do anything, you know , military" Anyone looking for a smoking gun won't have too long to look. He will be dead.
