BTW the tax code as it stands is a product of the liberals trying to get the most cash possible from the taxpayers for the massive amount of pork spending. The officially recognized king of pork? If the president was the only reason things are good or bad in this country, to use your simplistic approach, we have no need for anyone aside from a single leader. No congress. In case you don't read history, the dems have had the tax and spend reputation for almost two hundred years. History does not lie. The reason unions are dying is the incredible abuse of bargaining power. The unions have devolved into strongarm wasteful cauldrons employing many hundreds of thousands of slacker "labor". I had to contract for labor from the IBEW, AFTRA, SAG, and several other unions in the staging and electrical unions. I was forced to use overblown crews and ridiculous overtime rates for substandard work that a well trained and responsible free-lance tech could have done in half the time. When you have to relocate a convention out of Chicago permanently (which several of our clients have done) because of crooked and /or inflated labor unions, that is proof enough that unions have outlived their useful lives. BTW # 2 since the international dependence on oil is unfortunately a fact of life, please do your part to conserve. Turn off the computer, do not drive, do not turn on your lights, don't let your wife use make-up, don't use vaseline, use nothing of plastic, cuddle up to stay warm and don't wear anything synthetic.
