Subject: I did not get the impression that Blair was about to cry yesterday. I thought she looked stunned that Starr made that kind of decision without talking to her first. I do not think Blair agrees with anything Todd says. Todd and Blair seem to be on two completely different wavelengths right now. I really don't think deep down Blair is against what Starr is doing, but I do think Blair wishes Starr would talk to her before making these big decisions. Its very hurtful for Blair to feel shut out by Starr.
In reply to: Cathy 's message, "I agree that Blair would never want her grandchild with Marcie. Not after what Marcie did with Sam. I just don't buy that she's ok with it. I don't think she is, but is afraid to say otherwise, because deep down, she agrees with Todd that the child should not go to the McBains. She looked like she was going to cry yesterday when she learned about it." on 17:55:33 07/10/08 Thu

[> [> [> [> [> [> I guess we disagree lucy. I definitely thought Blair looked about to cry when she was standing behind Todd and he was asking Starr how she could consider giving the child away to a woman who kidnapped Sam. Blair even admitted to John that she said she'd help Marcie in part to get back at Todd. Todd rejected Blair the other day and she's still angry about it. I know this story so well I could recite it with my eyes closed. I don't think it will be too long before Blair articulates to someone that she doesn't want the baby w/Marcie -- Cathy, 18:29:30 07/10/08 Thu

[> [> [> [> [> [> I rather think she IS against what Starr is doing. At the very least she's not completely sold on the idea and is only going along with it because she promised Starr to stand by her no matter what. I agree with others, Blair's become a yes-man to Starr... which really isn't that different from being the Stepford Wife to Todd during the strike. Blair hasn't actually sat down to talk any of this through with Starr, mainly because Starr won't TELL her anything and Blair doesn't seem to give a damn about that. This is progress? If you say so. -- Dandesun, 18:55:48 07/10/08 Thu

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> this is why i think blair being a yes-man to starr is different than being a stepford wife to todd. being a yes-man is blair's way of doing everything for her child, but being a stepford wife was blair's way of putting her relationship with todd above her own children. i always thought cause of her horrid childhood, blair would always go above and beyond for her children, and give them the unconditional love and support she never got which is what I think is driving her now that and the guilt of failing her kids. -- sparklebarbie, 19:11:52 07/10/08 Thu
