Just curious. I don't hate this. I just have reservations. There are no magic juices flowing from John McBain's genatalia. This is not the answer to a Blair fan's prayers, but I personally will wait to pass judgement until I see what airs. If it's all a plot point to heighten hostility between Todd and John then it will suck for Blair, because it's really all about Todd and John. I don't care about either of those characters and the show has been all about John and Todd before and it sucked. I did care about Blair. I still care about Kassie. If she wants it, then I won't object, but I may not support it either. A friend of mine, in discussions about another character, made a good point. She said these are fictional characters, and the writers can take them in directions we would never have believed. Once they do that the audience is free to revise their opinions about, and consequently, their affection for the character. They've twisted Blair so many times, she's no longer the character I fell in love with, and only Kassie's talented performances have given me glimpses of that character I loved. My love for Blair was diminished when forgave Todd for telling her Jack was dead. Compared to that? Hooking up with John McBain hardly registers.
