Subject: Just watched the 40th Anniv show, & as PISSED OFF & DISAPPOINTED I am they didn't include Kassie & others actually, but did include Sarah, Jared, Nat, Gigi & even Shane who I don't think should've been included, I still have to say, as someone who's watched from 1972(OK so I'm old) I really enjoyed going back & reliving some of those s/ls. Some of them guys have been sorely missed Erin & Mark for example.

I,also,was quite disappointed and annoyed that veteran cast members such as Kassie and Hillary were not included in the 40th anniverary show! ITA, I saw no reason to include newer cast members like Gigi, Shane, and Jared either. IMHO, anniversary episodes should focus on core families and key cast members. As a KDP fan, I am especially upset that she was excluded. This is grossly unfair and I plan to contact TPTB about it.

The whole Menorra thing is camp to me and while I like the idea of Vickie going to heaven, it just didn't resinate for me. These stories seem to be projections of plots which are taking place on the show at this time. They are giving revelation as to how certain storylines will evolve. Jessica Ann,

I was surprised to see Cord on the 40th Anniversary show, but no sign of Max OR Blair. I also felt that Kevin and Joey should have been included. Some people have said that certain characters didn't fit into the 40th anniversary storyline, but the anniversary plot didn't HAVE to be an extension of current storylines. In fact, IMHO, I think it should have been a special show with a totally separate plot, including many of the core characters that appeared on the show in the past 40 years.
