Subject: I think Blair is, and will accept responsibility. Right now she has to focus on finding Starr and getting to the bottom of it all. That's taking responsibility. Todd on the other hand, has yet to accept any and it still dellusional. I get his anger but it's way over the top and unreasonable. Everyone has made mistakes, yes, but he's the only one out of touch with reality.

I agree that Todd is out of touch with reality. Although I think Sole is also out of touch with reality. I guess they get a pass because they're teens and I understand that. I think Todd really wants to control his anger, but doesn't know how. His strong emotions for his little girl (the one who literally saved his life) are ruling him right now. Unfortunately, it looks like it will lead to tragedy for everyone and spark off the same ole storyline cycle for Todd and Blair. They're not getting a pass. No way is a 16 year old girl giving birth to a baby a "pass". Whether she chooses to abort, put the baby up for adoption or raise it herself, it is a lifechanging experience and a lot for a 16 year old to handle. I couldn't care less about Coal. Pffft.... really. He's not pregnant, he's going to go back to Buchie acres and do whatever. Todd's beat the crap out of him a couple of times, short of murdering him in the street that's all Todd's really allowed to do to him. I don't think she should be placated, but I do think she should be safe. I guess I am of the opinion that 16 year olds are suppose to be stupid impulsive and some what idealistic. {I was..everyone I know.. was} I am also of the opinion they didn't start anything. They had sex[unprotected] Which as of this moment none of the parents know about. This could have been handled in a manner that would not have had everyone in that house paying the price. Instead it was handled by the chronically stupid Todd with Blair playing the blind referee. Since her parents were once that age one would think they would think back to when they were teenagers and deal with what happened with some modicum of humanity and familiarity.... rather Todd acts like the second coming of Caligula and Blair staring as the ambiguous umpire. Adults are suppose to be there to help and guild and nurture not abuse then look around for absolution. Or worse yet imo look around to share the blame of wrong doing with the very kids they are suppose to be taking care of.

Todd is a grown up, if he really wants to control his anger, he'll get the help he so desperately needs. It sounds to me like it might be forced on him and that's fine with me. If he doesn't, then its his choice. Regardless, there is no way I'd want my child to carry a baby in a home with an angry, abusive father. Its too much and it is wrong.
