On top of that Blair finds out that Starr is 3 months pregnant, and Starr was too afraid to tell Blair so tried to get an abortion, and later she run away to live in the slums just avoid telling her parents. Given all that, Blair knew Starr needed reassurance that everything was going to be ok not a harsh reality check about being 16 and pregnant.
