Subject: Why is Blair always judged by impossibly high standards than Todd? For years, its always been Todd can do no wrong, and Blair can do no right. Even now, when Todd tosses Starr aside like a rag doll in a fit of blind rage, Blair is the one who gets bashed all over the web as an evil cruel shrew. I think Ron Carlivati's writing is very pro-Blair, but people still bash Blair. I do not get it. I wish I did, but I don't. It just makes me so sad. Its like Blair can never catch a break.

Blair was all alone when she was a teenager and can feel that Starr needs her and she wants to find her. Starr did try to tell Blair but Todd interrupted. She can see Todd is out of control and with his actions on Friday he proved she was right for trying to protect Starr from him. Todd knew he was on a pier with a staircase. He knew it was Starr he was pushing but all he was consumed with was beating up Cole. A teen-age boy. I know Todd loves Starr.. just like he loves Blair. But his love for Blair has never stopped him from hurting her and doing horrible things to her. That is what Todd thinks love is. Now Blair is seeing that she is not the only one he treats that way. It is spreading to their children. To Todd loves seems to include violence and control. I guess from being raised by Peter Manning. Blair was raised alone and seems to want better for her children. To me that is being a good parent, not being cruel. Todd isn supposed to be an adult and Starr the child. Todd did not mean to hurt Starr, but he is responsible. He threw her down those stairs and he knew they were there.

she will tell everyone in open court that Todd paid her to marry him so he could get custody of Sam. This will cause Sam to be put into Child Protective Services and taken away from Todd. I think this action is what many people view as "cruel" and overkill.

So whatever, Blair's doing what she thinks is right and IMHO, choosing to support your child over ANY man is not only right, but I think its the best decision any mother could make.

That being said, I've also seen a lot of relief and support of Blair for finally stepping up and taking control. I think Ron C does give a damn about Blair and Who. She. Is. which is a hell of a change so, for the first time in years, I've felt hopeful for Blair after a T&B implosion. She's not being cruel. She's being tough. Todd has earned all of this for going absolutely starkers and forgetting, once again, every promise he made in the face of his own anger. I understand why Blair is taking the actions she is. Todd is out of control. That is my problem. This could have been a decent story of teen pregnancy but all it has been is Todd the big bad wolf vs Starr and Cole, the victims.

RC gave Blair back her backbone but is destroying Todd. I get that the scabs wrote a good part of Todd going nuts but RC is writing now and Todd is no better, just worse.
