Remember all the Law Suits just a year or two ago? All the States coming after the Tobacco Companies? As a result there has been more than just a little fall out!
In order to cover their respective asses the Tobacco Companies agreed to a strict set of guidelines and marketing practices. For smokers intelligent enough to read the label on the pack this amounts to just another pain in the ass government intervention. But sometimes you have got to play by the rules. This is another of those times! It's better than prohibition wouldn't you agree?

Basically, they just need to obtain proof that you are a legal adult smoker. You'll have to prove your age and provide the appropriate identification. You may also want to ask Phillip Morris to put you on any special offers or coupon mailing lists.
