got a b for my advertising. now busy with projects. just had a mini presentation last saturday, was proud of my powerpoint but my group mates play me out..anyway, dun wanna talk about it. 2 more projects to go for now.
oh, jo, the dinner with brother was GREAT! met brother at yishun interchange after tuition, took 853 down to serangoon garden together. had dinner at chom chom, brother said i make a good gf cos i offered to be the one to order food. haha. funny. chat about our folks at home, life, etc. then proceeded to coffee bean for a cuppa, then home. it feels great to have a brother to rely on. =)
sent him to the airport ytd. he was one of a commical kind. ha.
grace, i turned down the other job, far too far. take me an hour half to reach, then must walk in. supposed to start nect month actually, then i discussed with darren, decided to turn down offer.
alice, is his dad alright now? diabetics?
ling, was the project material useful? sorry couldn't get hold of the complete set for ya. and, 28th june saturday is fine with me,if you're still on.
hao, glad you'll be back soon. can't wait.
liang, do remember to set aside time for gf, eh?
btw, jo, my dad and i are so much better now. keke. i bought him two australian stout on fathers' day, he loved them. my hamster's under his care now.
oh, and, everyone, i had my stubborn baby tooth extracted on tuesday. i asked the dentist for extra dosage of the painkiller, that was so far, another brave thing i did. yikes.
hao, my mum taught me a method to slowly cure my piles. so, no operation for me, hooray!

Oh i just added this page to my Favourites..wow..it's amazing to see the number of msges posted and it's a pity i missed out so much! Igors: halloween theme restaurant. normal price at 75 bucks per pax, u get to sit thru a 3 course meal (yummy) with a musical, loud servers and loads of fun.now at the price of 37.50, it's very worth it when u go with a big grp of frens. offer lasts till 31st june.
haha why do i sound like a sales gal? :P
anyhow, the servers and performers are all dressed in costumes of of cos the halloween theme. before we reach the dinning hall, we have to go thru this dark long passage with horror pop ups . like the ghost house u wanted to bring us. just shorter.
those chickens! i was unknowningly the first one!

Since Ji mentioned about igors, might as well update u guys abt it. :)
we had thru go thru this passage where real "horror" characters would pop out amidst the fakies... something similiar to wat me and shihua went thru, remember the dark passage where we couldn't see wat's in front of us at the amusement park i had to totally cling onto ur jacket...? aha...
me damn unlucky, stand right in front, supposedly with christine and huiji right in front and the two just scramble behind me! haha... luckily halfway thru got the MEN of the group to "protect" us. haha... thanks to darren and my fren's bf leroy. haha... the whole thing was quite fun, with a play in between our meals, fun servers and yummy food... though i find the dessert too sweet and i realise though we had 2 big trays to be shared among the 14 of us, jodan. her date and her two frens just bloody hog one big tray of food. haha... being bochup, i see leroy trying to get some food from that tray, i lean over and pull the tray right in front. ha! so "BU ZHI DONG" one, ur frens jo!
anyhow, the music was good and we all had fun. hehehe... drinks ex though, at $9 per glass and i'm not toking abt alcohol but fruit punch and lime juice during the meal.
new play and same fees of one for one till end of june! too bad hiskandar and J coming back only in july. sigh...

These few days of revision lessons really paid off.. i've passed my driving test... but no car to drive... =<

Anyway, i passed with 16 pts... the tester help me a lot... heheh.... i beat the amber light again... but still manage to pass... hengz...

hey jian hao happie birthday.... busy with my dissertations and exams coming liao.. been too lazy this past sem now panicking...

huiji... well it takes time to get over this kind of thing... i'm not actually sure how many of you know or remember this but my mum passed away at the end of my sec 1 year... and it took me some time to accept it. somemore my dad and i were not that close at that time. but now our relationship better. once the sars thing over jus take the time to recover along with ur godma... but we all need some time alone when something like this happens.

ji: it will definitelty take quite a while to pass this sad period. same thing laz year, lost my grandpa all of a sudden, 2 months later lost my dog(datz juz b4 i went china).. i was very guilty for both incidents till now. can say i was lazy, when my parents went visit my grandpa, i was like, i'm busy today, go visit him next time. but b4 dat time comes, he's already gone.
then i was so busy wif work that i had no time to bring coco to the vet. by the time i could make it, it was damn too late. things juz got much worse at the vet, n she juz cried and vomitted blood right before me.. it really hurts....
frenz can't do much to help, but they will always try their best to prevent you from falling too much. A shoulder will be there whenever u need to cry.

turned out to be some communication prob. the supervisor said "ok, start friday, will call to confirm."
he didn't call but i still went down. then he said i told u i'll confrim wat. and two other trainee went down and i guess they get the prettier gals to start first lor.

Ji: cheer up. I lost my grams two years back too remember? i cried and it hurt so much like no body's biz and i was teaching tutiton when she passed away.i felt so guilty that in a way cos i wanted to get my fees i lost my grams like that...

my godpa passed away. well, you guys wun understand. it's not like, hey, take care, that kinda thing. godma and godpa were parents to me since my birth till i was 5 years old. i mean, i know age is catching up, and he is not as healthy. but i din expect to lose him so soon. he was initially from TTS so he went back for check-up as he had fever but he is DEFINATELY not down with SARs. yet, they cremated him the moment he closed his eyes on us. not that i was there, i wasn't. i received the news when i was at Redang. no one was to visit him at all. he left without anyone by him. i'm so sorry, i really am. and my mum forbid me to go visit godma cos she was all paranoid about TTS. i know how she feels right now. this is one couple whom i really admire. they go out together, holding hands till the very end, when she was hospitalised earlier, i visited him and he asked for his wife. she told me when she was operated, that she will not give up cos she has to fulfill the duty of a wife to look after her husband till the very end. now that this man is gone from her life, what meaning is there? as her god-daughter, i hope to be the reason for her to live strongly now.

well, I'm still surviving at Sci Centre....under two bitches(damn!!). life's getting abit monotonous due to the sars thingy. oso, some exhibition is undergoing upgrading, thus a few shows are cancelled.

it's no news to jo cos she was with me today but just to put some of your minds at ease or just get mad at me further i got a pt job at Centro. pay's not alot but i will expect some good fun and income to pay off my debts. anyhow, when i work jobs like these i usually will slim down alittle again so pray hopeful it works this time. :)

oh and u know what, the ladies is so nice. nice shower area, clean dry floor, warm water clean changing rooms and toilets! so it's very worth it i feel. oh plus suntanning spaces with shallow water. there! so Jo, Ji... next time go there rather than the normal s.p lah.

Finally couldn't take it i went swimming at yishun safra. for 3 bucks i got to swim, and enjoy the jacuzzi... sigh... relaxing and rejuvenating. so much better then being stuck at home!
anyhow, screw sars. i do use dettol wet tissues and this hand sanitiser my sis bought. very nice! we can use for picnics and bbqs next time also. haha...

sorry I MIA for a couple of gatherings...was too busy with my work...there were two openings at sci centre...therefore had to plan n conduct the shows. glad that they're over now...the laz show i did was a play based on " Alice in Wonderland" for the new Mind's Eye Exhibition. Had recorded it and cutting into cd. show u guys next time...show u guys the pics i took at work too....

Sorry, guys... just cannot make it for some of the gatherings... It just clashes with other gatherings... since i ate with u all at china square so i joined the other friends...

Things are getting packed for me again... "packed" too... i brought all my stuff back from hall and realize my room is too small for everything...now the stuff are all over the place... the floor, top of cupboards and shelves...

Hopefully by 30 Apr, exams are over (if not postponed)... i'll be really free to go out then... hehe...

jl mentioned in his email tt his daughter in BJ (ya, me lah) has been saying that her life in BJ is all but a dream tt'll be gone once she returns to Singapore... i still believe so now... but more on the life in BJ being a vacation while the true reality lies in Singapore. Circumstantial friends in BJ... certainly true, though there r a few pple here who i wish can maintain contact after we get out of BJ lah.

About Sentosa i've really got no freaking idea man... walau! finally i made it through the first two days of new yr. *phew*
yesterday went out. fren and godma's house. my little niece, Calista, is coming one this March. pretty little girlie.
today we finally decided on a one day outing, to, well, city hall, shop and walk around. i do need a few pairs of good damn shoes at the moment.

Yoyo.. XiuYu here. Wah... orange ah, so CNY, but a bit the hurting to the eyes leh :P my first visit here on CNY eve... and right now hor, I'm hoping that I'll be able to access this page in Beijing lor !!! No joke. I cannot go CNN, BBC or Geocities in Beijing lor... National security issue for the Chinese govt :P So Ah Ling's website n Jo's website r totally out of my reach for the past 4 months.
