Subject: chili marinade

Thanks all for the fuel advises. I guess you don't learn how to swim 'till you jump into the lake. Those chunks look mighty fine to me. Meanwhile, if anyone cares, here's my version of chili marinade for chicken which I'm gonna smoke tommorow. I used to grill chicken that way. The said chicken is already in a ziplock drinking the stuff. I'm drinking something else. LOL

CHILI MARINADE

Smoker - 1 chicken butterflied

Grill - 1 chicken, skinned and quartered

Mix all following ingredients and let sit 20 minutes before pouring over chicken.

1/3 cup olive oil
Juice of 1 lime
11/2 tbs juice from a can of Jalapenos
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp cumin seeds crushed in pestle
1 tbs fresh rosemary chopped
2 tbs good quality chili powder
1/2 cube Knorr Swiss chicken bouillon crumbled

Mix well in a bowl.
