Subject: Ontario gas bbq!

I was at Ontario Gas BBQ on Sat. and met with the owner Duff Dixon about the association, as well he sent me a long two page e-mail after checking out our web page and forum. Duff is very interested in the association would like to get involed and has taken out a corporate membership for starters. we also had a phone conversation today and he gave me permmsion post parts of his e-mail to me, here on the forum. I thought this would interest you.

I dashed home to see my little guy before his bed time and then hopped on the web to visit the forum and learn about the CBSA. I would like to congratulate you on your work. The sight is fabulous, the enthusiasm and knowledge of the forum members is refreshing. Your members are definitely more knowledgeable than I am in the true "Art of Smoking." I am only a humble, (and sometimes grouchy) supplier. Hats off
to you for starting what I hope will be a most successful association.

If there is any product you or your members have seen in far-flung places and have not been able to get locally, I’d be more than happy to investigate bringing in the product for you.

If you and/or members/friends would like to come by after hours for a tour/chat/beer without the phones ringing and those gas barbecue people around I’d be more than happy to stay. I’d love to give you a warehouse / showroom tour and am interested in hearing what you want and don’t want from a store like ours.

In stock, chunks – hickory & mesquite. Chips only – hickory, mesquite,
maple, alder, birch, apple, cherry, peach and sweetwood – don’t ask me
what this is!

Also in stock "Green Mesquite Charcoal" from www.texas-mesquite.com.
Although I don’t think this should be used exclusively as a smoking source of fuel, flavour may be too strong, it certainly adds a punch at the end of a smoke! Or, if I dare say, you feel the urge for a grilled steak, it’s a killer!

We stock Maple Leaf charcoal, lump & briquette year round.

Brinkmann Smokers – Due in mid to late May. We will be bringing in all the Brinkmann’s you see on our web site at www.bbqs.com.
I cut and pasted the info I thought would be of interest to you......Bruce
