Don't know if the "Bronto" short ribs I did on the weekend were the best thing i've ever done but they were mighty tasty.BTW, I made some minor mods to the bullet last week and was suprised by the results.I had already drilled some holes in the coal pan last year,so I just added a charcoal grate to the pan to give me about a 2" clearance.Also put the legs on the outside and added some threaded rod legs to the coal pan for it to sit on.I had a tough time gett'in below 250 degrees for the first 3 hrs.But see'in I had a thick piece of meat I was'nt too concerned.The only time I had temps like that before was when I set fire to the whole pan of hardwood lump.(lol) Also find the charcoal chimmney to be a good help.Hope this was'nt a one time thing,good Q'n,Bigj.
