Subject: Wonders Among Us

Folks:
In the relatively short time I've been stoking a bbq fire, I've met a handful of people who've made an impact on the way I think and work around the que. Smokin' Jim was the first Canadian I ever heard/read about on the internet and he showed me that Canadians do, in fact, barbecue the true and old-fashioned way.
Next there was Reg who opened my eyes to the entire spectrum of all that can be done with smoke and spice. I look forward to the opportunity to learn what he has to offer in regards to smoked hams, bacons, sausages etc. That is gonna be a highlight for me!
Now I am finding through my work on the Smoke Signals newsletter that there is another subtle 'King of Que' out there in our midst, and that is Ron Rondeau of Montreal, via his 'Weekend Warriors' column in the Smoke Signals newsletter.
You may have read the past articles by Ron on his backyard adventures and trials and tribulations hovering over the smoking WSM, but I am telling you now: the next Smoke Signals contains a story/recipe/technique that will just blow you away! Ron's experiences, knack of storytelling and ultimately, the recipes will be something you will really enjoy!
Nothing to sell or promote here in this post, other than making you aware that you are in the company of some mighty fine bbq'ers, smokers and all-around fine folk. Take advantage of the 'database' here at your disposal!
Good Thursday to you all!
Qfan
