Subject: the original Henckels

at the old farmhouse i am renovating i came across a pile of old junk the new owner was going to throw out. in this " junk " was a bunch of old silverware and some knives. i asked if i could have the old knive and was told i could have it all if i wanted. i now have in my posession a # 102-12" chefs knive. its a carbon steel blade with a wooden handle. what a nice old piece and it really takes a good edge. also in the junk was a ACME oil stone in a finger jointed wood box. what a hoot.
