Bryan: No problem in sending bbq anywhere in the world as long as you are prepared to pay. I would sugjest you freeze your bbq in individual pieces tightly wrapped in stretch wrap at least double. Purchase a cheap cooler from Wal mart or Cdn Tire, one of those plastic little Oscars or Colemans for about 12 or 14 bucks, make sure you buy one that closes over and seals the top. Then purchase a few reuseable camping/picnic freezer packs, throw those in the freezer for a few days. When packs frozen pack frozen bbq in newspaper and pack cooler tightly with freezer packs. Seal the lid with packing tape and make sure no air can get thru. Wrap the cooler up in packing paper, address the package and take to Fed Ex for overnight delivery. Should cost about 35 to 40 bucks to over night this puppy. (on you Fed Ex way bill do not state this is food or frozen meat simply state your package as documents, work every time.( Advice- do not use UPS or Purolater and certianlly not Canada Post overnite services)
If this is too much work you can have the frozen bbq profesionally sent, packed in dry ice with the proper disclaimers ( C02, dry ice, is a hazordous good and you pay dearly for handling) Call 416-252-7137 Dry Ice and Gases Co. 26 Dorchester, Toronto They will take care of the entire process for you. But beware this costs big bucks , last week i sent 40 lbs of cooked chicken products to Montreal from Toronto and it cost me $160.00 to do so. But product arrived perfectly and on time. Hope this helps out any members who need to get their bbq shipped in a hurry.
