Subject: i want to build a cold smoker

Greetings from Oklahoma!
I am an avid fisherman and would like to smoke my own catch. I grew up in western New York and remember going to a fishmarket that had smoked whitefish from Lake Erie.The fish were "head-on" and were a dark golden brown skin and the meat was so good! We used to stop at that market when we returned to Buffalo on family visits to get several of those great whitefish. My Granfather loved them.

Can anyone help me out with basic plans for a cold smoker and recipes for white bass(we call em "sand bass" here) or freshwater stripers?

I am on a quest to have fresh smoked fish this spring and would appreciate any and all help.
