Whatever you do, don't waste your money on one of the cheap ($30) vacuum sealers. They don't hold their vacuum very long especially in the freezer and you end up with ice and freezer burn. I saw one of the good quality Kray-o-vac style units demonstrated at the Price Club. It gave a good tight vacuum seal and used a better quality film like the butchers and grocery stores use. However it was around $150 or so. I guess the old saying, you get what you pay for works here.
