Following several teams like the "Holy Cow Cookers" and "Mad Momma and the Kid" around the world for a year, we travel from the season opener in Houston to the "European Barbeque Championships" in Switzerland and the "World Barbeque Championships" in Cape Town. We visit the "Barbeque on the Bow" in Alberta and end up at the grand-daddy of championships the "Jack Daniel's Invitational" in Tennessee. This is a tale of unforgettable characters who create monster pits that cook hundreds of briskets through the night. They line up rows of "Texas Drunk Chickens" standing at attention on the grills, perched on beer cans smoking to perfection. The guard their secret rib sauce recipes fervently and dazzle judges with aromatic blends of spicy flavour. "Fire in the Soul" is "barbeque" like you've never seen before. Discover the passion in the pits, the quirky culinary secrets and the compelling characters vying for supremacy in the high pressure cooker world of competitive barbeque.
